Looking forward to some quiet time

Instead of forking out $50 + dollars to take the kids to the movies I bought MAdagascar 2 on DVD which we didn`t get to see when it came out...

What can I say other than I loved it....I loved the first one and this movie was just as good....

It kept the boys quiet for a while at least....I don`t know what it is with these two but they carry on something shocking....It`s getting to the point where I need to keep them separated from each other just so I can get some peace....

At least i`ll have a couple of days rest as Joshua has gone to stay with his father for a few days to work (hopefully) on this caravan of his....It`s getting desperate now that he and Daniel have to have their own space...

There is so much to do around the house but i`m not feeling very motivated today....Still not 100% and it gets quite depressing when I am the only one who seems to do everything inside and out...

I know when i`m run down as I have started to get a damn cold sore..Happens EVERYTIME without fail...

Only one week left of school holidays then back to some sort of routine....

I love my kids dearly but I love my quiet times too...lol

  1. I don't envy you bringing up teenage boys. Hang in there they'll be grown before you know.
I know how you feel about being the one doing all the work but I must admit I'm lucky he likes cooking and so I get him to clean the kitchen.

  3. My sons used to fight constantly and more so if they had an audience at home. It was hard to tolerate, but somehow I got through it. These days they get on well but then they live in different States, maybe that has something to do with it. Hope you don't get too ill with your cold etc.

  4. I have girls but still they would and still can fight like cats and dogs but they have always been better when they don't have an audience.

At least you get a bit of a break when Josh goes to his fathers I use to love it when my girls would go over to my sisters for a night.

  5. Hi Mandy
I grow up in a home with two other brothers. oddy enough we never used to argue.
Come to think of it the only aruments we ever had all thows years ago was with mum and dad.
I guess it's either two things 1. Inderpendance! it's a hormon thing all boys need there inderpendance. Or 2 maybe the boys enjoy rubbing each other up the wrong way kinda like how boys tease girls for fun well boys tease boys in a male type way too just for fun. I'm sure it will all work out in time. Just count your lucky stars there not rubbing you up the wrong way just for fun...
    cya buddy.
