More than happy with their accomplishments

It`s official...My daughter has passed Year 11 even though she had to struggle through illness to do so....

She has had a tough year with her health and a tougher year to try and catch up with school work she had missed.....

So now the fun year is yet to come....And already i`m up for a small fortune....Books that are compulsary for the year and they expect payment just before Christmas....Wonderful!!!!!

Two more weeks for the boys until they finish the school year and they have both excelled themselves after last years effort....

I`ll have to think of a special treat for them all as they have done so well with all the challenges we have had as a family this year....

  1. Great news. Doesn't it make you feel happy and proud. You are a good mum and that helps.

  4. That's great Mandy. A credit to you and your daughter (and, in anticipation, the boys). Guess they are not looking for textbooks for Chrissie!

  5. Fran it`s ridiculous...I`m looking at nearly $150 and that`s just for her text books....Never mind about everything else she needs....

Any other school supplies them but no not this one.....

  7. i heard about a school the other day that pooled all of their unwanted uniforms, shoes and books etc and gave them away for free. my friend's kids school collects all of their unwanted shoes and sends them to africa. pity you can't get them secondhand.

  8. That`s wonderful that some schools can do this.....
It`s not that I mind having to pay out , it`s the inconvienience of it right before Christmas....
    Just bad timing I suppose...

I dread to think how much it`s going to cost when she get`s to uni.....
