Taking some R & R

Hi everyone...Well as most of you know life at home has been pretty stressful for me due to Matt`s health and now also the kids....So i`m taking a few days off and taking a break from blogging so I can recharge myself mentally and physically...I will be back....So keep well everyone and talk with you all soon.....

Looks like Summer is here

It looks as though Spring has left us and Summer is here...By Saturday they are claiming we will be in the high 30`s so the pool should be getting a bit of a workout this week....

Off to take Krystal to her old school tomorrow to re-enrol her....At least she has seen how the other side lives so to speak...lol....She also starts work Wednesday so her life is getting back on track....

Daniel has a pupil free day tomorrow (wonderful).....Daniel and I put up our Xmas tree yesterday and i noticed all the decorations are now up in the big department stores....I just can`t believe how quickly it has come around this year....

I look back at the year and so much has happened and the year isn`t even over with....The kids have been making themselves scarce this weekend, especially the older two....Home life hasn`t been terribly happy for them and I can understand why they want to get out.....

Matt has basically given up all hope....I can`t say anything more....Since Friday he has stayed in bed and won`t move.....We hardly talk now as he has nothing positive to say and me being the positive one won`t listen to any negativity....So best just not to talk for now.....Can`t get into any arguments that way...lol....

Wednesday he has to get up out of bed as he has to take his mother out on Thursday....He will be staying at his mothers Wednesday night so with some luck she may be of some help with him.....Daniel is going to catch the bus to school with the two older ones...Just hope he stays at school but I have to trust him....

That`s about it for now.....Just keeping my nose clean and staying away from trouble...lol....

I`d like to rub today out and start again....PLEASE

All I can say is what a shit of a day....

It started off your normal quiet non event happening kinda day but then

POW!!!!!

I got a phone call from Krystal this afternoon and Joshua had been punched in the face by an older kid who is nothing but trouble...

Found out that this kid`s father is the one that threatened Daniel that time when Daniel flipped the bird at him....

So I quickly raced down to get the kids and his face was all swollen but his nose thankfully had stopped bleeding and wasn`t broken...

I was wild...So much so that I took All the kids down to the local police station and reported it...

Then I find out from this really nice officer that this kid has a record a mile long....

He actually said to me this kid has had more charges against him than I have had hot dinners....

He said to me really to take the matter further would just create more problems for me and the family....

So it`s on record for now and if anything else happens then we can have the first report brought back out and take action....

Then you wouldn`t believe it while we were in there making out the report who did they drag in handcuffed but this kid.....

Apparently they have been looking for him for quite some time now and he did something really bad after the attack on Joshua....

But what shit`s me the most is he will get a slap on the wrist because he is only 17....Then it`s back out into the streets to cause more havoc and mayhem for innocent bystanders...

After that I finally arrived home at 7pm and Matt had a call from his doctors about the results to do with his liver...

Not good news i`m afraid...

Seems the liver is severely damaged and the pancrea`s

(think that`s how you spell it)

Neither is functioning properly....

So now the doctor is weighing up what can be done but by the sounds of things it isn`t positive news...

So nice way to start the weekend...lol

If you don`t laugh you`ld cry....

Just have to see what`s around the corner now...

Didn`t take long for the kids to be sick all at once

Good morning all...

Well it hasn`t been a good start as all the kids now have this rotten cold...

It didn`t take long to go through the house...

Touch wood i`m going to stay safe...lol

Krystal finished her online induction with her job and she now starts work on the 14th of this month...

She is really looking forward to it...

So now we have to go out and buy some black pants, white shirt and black tie up shoes....

I`m off to the shops this morning and i`m going to leave the kids to fend for themselves...

Hopefully I come home to a house that is still in one piece...

Daniel had an episode lastnight so anything can and is likely to be possible...

A bit rude isn`t it...lol....

Well it`s not been much of a day today....

Had to ring Krystal`s old school to make an appointment to re-enrol her for next year...

She isn`t terribly happy where she is....

The all girls school has spoilt her...lol...

So Monday next week it`s back there to do all the paper work again...

Then there was the lawnmower looking at me and I thought Nup i`m not going anywhere near you today....

I just wasn`t in the mood for a fight with it...So instead I cleaned the pool as we are in for some warm weather come the weekend and no doubtly Daniel will want to use it...

Joshua has come down with a cold again...

Hope he keeps it to himself...

Then I did the most bizarre thing today...

I rang one of my old work collegues whom I haven`t spoken to in about 3 years...

I honestly didn`t expect them to still be working there but I was delighted to hear they were...So we are going to catch up for coffee in a couple of weeks....It`s been 10 years since I have left there and actually seen this person...

So I suppose we will both get a bit of a shock seeing each other again after all this time....

Well that`s about it for me tonight....

Off to watch my All Saints...

Never missed a show yet and i`m not about too...lol...

I had a great day out and busy busy busy today

Finally the rain has stopped

I was able to get outside and do those jobs that I have been itching to do...

Firstly it was to pull the canvas off and stitch it back together...

Sewing was the easy part...

Trying to figure out how to set the sewing machine up was the hard part...

I always manage to have trouble with that bobbin thingy underneath and after an hour of perservering I succeeded...lol

Damn who said sewing was easy...hahaha

Caught up with the washing finally , all washed dried and put away...

This girl has worked out on how not to iron...One less job to worry about...lol

Then it was onto the lawns...

OMG i`m going to kill that lawnmower before it kills me....

I get it started ok and it`ll run for about 30 seconds then it`ll konk out on me...

Took me twice as long to mow just the back lawn...I still have the front to do but i`m going to leave that for tomorrow...

Krystal and I had a wonderful day out together on Saturday and I`m going to try to at least go out with her on a monthly basis...It did me the world of good and she enjoyed it too...

I spoilt myself by buying 2 summer dresses which only cost me $12 each...

Bought a few things for the home and of course a bag of lollies for Daniel because he was a good boy for his dad...

Well i`m in the process of making tea...Just cold chicken and salad tonight...The diet is still going to plan Tamaris...

Hope you managed to be a good girl too...lol

Thank goodness the weekend is here

Good evening all...It`s been quite a week....Sick kids , sick husband and a missing cat which still hasn`t come home....And I don`t think he will be now...

We`ve had so much rain over the last week and my yard looks like an over grown jungle....I have this fettish where I don`t like letting the lawn get too out of hand and it`s depressing looking at it so I`ve tried not to peek my head out the back door...lol...

Looking forward to tomorrow as Krystal and I are going to have a girls day out...She wants to take me out for lunch and just do girlie things like SHOPPING....I must admit I do like to do this and it gives us time to have a mum daughter chat....Now that she is getting older it`s great having the female company....We can talk about anything together and we both understand each other really well....In reality we are more good friends but she knows not to push me too far or the mother kicks back in...lol

I`m still trying to master this new computer system I have....I`ve got Microsoft Outlook 2007 installed and it`s a totally different ball game altogether....I`m getting lost....Not hard for me lately...lol...I`m sure once I play around a bit with it i`ll master it but it is very daunting like anything is when it`s new....
