God.com
Every single eveningAs I'm lying here in bed,This tiny little PrayerKeeps running through my head:God bless all my familyWherever they may be,Keep them warm and safe from harmFor they're so close to me.
And God, there is one more thingI wish that you could do;Hope you don't mind me asking,Please bless my computer too.
Now I know that it's unusualTo Bless a motherboard,But listen just a secondWhile I explain it to you, Lord.
You see, that little metal boxHolds more than odds and ends;Inside those small compartmentsRest so many of my friends.
I know so much about themBy the kindness that they give,And this little scrap of metalTakes me in to where they live.
By faith is how I know themMuch the same as you.We share in what life brings usAnd from that our friendships grew.
Please take an extra minuteFrom your duties up above,To bless those in my address bookThat's filled with so much love.
Wherever else this prayer may reachTo each and every friend,Bless each e-mail inboxAnd each person who hits 'send'.
When you update your Heavenly listOn your own Great CD-ROM,Bless everyone who says this prayerSent up to GOD.com
Amen.

That's a good poem, Mandy. Wow your great grandma is doing well to be moving and looking after herself. They breed tough women in your family. I love the cartoons you have on all your posts. Where do you find them?
ReplyDeleteBy the way I have tagged you on my Bigblog hope you don't mind.
I like the poem too Mandy and it is so true we have many friends out in cyberspace that we know as well as those friends we know in person.
ReplyDeletehi mandy. hope things are good with you and yours. :) Fran
